Valle Secreto Profundo Icon Red 75cl - Chilean Red Wine

From exceptional vineyards located on the hillsides of the Andes, in the Alto Cachapoal valley, this is one of the best terroir sections of Alto Cachapoal that Viña Valle Secreto is lucky to have, with careful care to harvest quality grapes. Profundo is lovingly created from the best quality grapes from each type of grape, in each vineyard, contributing to the unique characteristics of this wonderful wine. 

Profundo is harmoniously blended from 6 grape varieties, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Syrah, 10% Malbec, 10% Petit Verdot, 10% Carmenere. With a limited harvest of no more than 2kg/tree, production of no more than 3,000 bottles/year, the wine is aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels and rested in bottles in a dark cellar for 18 months before being sold for flavor. The wine is balanced and stable. Profundo has a deep cherry red color. The fragrance is elegant with hints of red berries, floral notes and attractive spicy pepper. Layer upon layer of complex aromas seem to bring the drinker into a wonderful fragrant palette. The wine is well structured with a concentration of strong yet elegant tannins, harmonious with fresh acidity. A long and beautiful aftertaste like the special impression of Profundo will satisfy any demanding guest in the search for excellent bottles of wine!
