Komagatake Limited Edition 2019 Single Malt Whisky 70cl is a rare and refined expression from the Mars Shinshu Distillery, located high in Japan’s scenic Nagano Prefecture. This annual limited release showcases the distillery's expert craftsmanship, blending selected single malts aged primarily in Bourbon barrels.

Distilled at an altitude of 800 metres in the Japanese Alps, Komagatake benefits from pure mineral-rich mountain spring water and a unique climate that promotes both rapid and gentle maturation. The result is a beautifully balanced whisky with remarkable depth and complexity.

On the nose, ripe fruits such as persimmon, apricot and orange marmalade offer a rich and inviting aroma. The palate reveals soft flavours of quince, melon, and sweet milk, all wrapped in a smooth, creamy texture. Tobacco, woody spice, and dark honey add warmth and depth, followed by a long, clean finish with a touch of dry oak.
