Chateauneuf-du-Pape Facelie Collection Bio M.Chapoutier 75cl - French Red Wine

Chateauneuf du Pape Facelie "Bio" is a full-bodied and substantial red wine made in the southern area of ??the Rhône Valley. Matured for 15-18 months in wooden barrels, it expresses an olfactory profile of great richness and complexity, characterized by evolved aromas of berry jam, sweet spices, leather and wood toasting. Warm and powerful, it has a muscular and broad profile, with a rich and enveloping texture, with a pleasant tannin. 

 

The colour is a deep garnet red. The nose has ripe berry aromas, such as blackcurrant and raspberry. Spicy and leather are present in the strong taste. The grapes are picked by hand when perfectly ripe. Winemaking takes place in temperature-controlled concrete containers. Part of the wine matures in large oak barrels for 15-18 months. Ripening potential from five to ten years.
