Aged in oak for between 24 and 30 months, with a further 24 month ageing in the bottle. Intense cherry red in colour with a powerful nose of oak and typical Rioja flavours. On the palate it is full bodied with polished tannins and a long persistent finish

Elaboration

Classical vinification with destalked, crushed grapes using the latest fermentation control technologies and long maceration periods. Aged for 24 to 30 months in American oak casks with appropriately-timed rackings. Aged in the bottle for at least 12 months before being put on the market. Serve at between 16º and 18ºC. Unmistakable personality of Cenicero wines.

Tasting notes

Intense cherry-red colour with a tawny rim. Clean, powerful aromas on the nose with a harmonious blend of ageing in oak and vinous notes. Wide structure in the mouth, tasty, with body. Polished, smooth tannins. Aromas extend retronasally, with a long, persistent finish. Well-developed and mature, it guarantees a long life in the bottle. Allergens: Contains sulfites
